in a school 50% of students like apple 45% like oranges and 25% like neither apple and orange what percent of students like both the fruits​

Let x % of students like both fruits.

Hence (50-x)% of students like only apple and (45-x)% of students like only orange.

 

Hence we have,  (50-x)+x+(45-x)+25 = 100  

if we solve the above equation for x, we get x = 20. Hence 20% of students like both fruits
