In a school 90 boys and 30 girls appeared in an examination.the mean marks of boys was found to be 45%, where as the mean of girls was 70%. Determine the average marks % of the school. Also write values.

Mean of boys scored ⇒ 45

Sum of boys scores, B^{1} ⇒ 90 x 45 = 4050

Total No. of girls ⇒ 30

Mean of girls scored ⇒ 70

Sum of girls scores, ∑G^{1} ⇒ 30 x 70 = 2100

Mean score of whole class = (∑B^{1} + G^{1}) / Total no. of Students

⇒ (4050 + 2100) / 90 + 30

⇒ 6150 / 120

⇒ 51.25%
