Let the Number of girls be X

then, Number of boys = X+160

Number of girls in % = 45%

Then, Number of boys in % = (100 - 45)% =55%

ATQ

X+160 = 55%

=>X+160 = 55/100

=> 100X = 55×160

=>X = 8800/100

=> X = 88

Hence,

Number of girls = X = 88

And Number of boys = X+160

=88+160

=248
