when total no.of students were 300, total no.of girls were 210 and boys were90. (by calculation) after that., if 30 girls leave the school and no. of boys remains the same, then, the girls are, now, 180 in no. and boys are 90 ..
Now, Total students = 270.
the new Percentage of girls = 66.66

No. Of total students =300
Percentage of boys=30percent
Therefore no. Of boys = 30percent of 300=90 boys
Percentage of girls =70percent
Therefore no. Of girls =70percent of 300=210 girls


According to question :-
30 girls leave
210-30=180 girls


New percent of girls = 180/300*100%=60%

New percentage of girls =60%
