In a school, ratio of boys to girls is 5:7. The total number of students is 660.This year 25 new boys joined and 35 girls left the school. Find the ratio of boys to girls this year.

Answer:

660x5/(5+7)=275 total boys and 660x7/(5+7)=385 total girls

now boys 275+25=300 and girls 385-35=350

son now ratio is 300:350=6:7
