in a school, students thought to planting trees in and around the school to reduce air pollution. it was decided that no. of trees that each section of each class will plant , will be the same as the class, in which they are studying . 3 sections of each classs.

Each section of class plants the same number of trees as the class number and there are three sections of each class.

So, Total number of trees planted by the students = 3(1+2+...+12)

=3(12/2(2×1+(12-1)×1)

=3(6(2+11))

=18×13

=234

Students planted 234 trees.
