In a school the totel number of students are 400. it contain boys and girls in the ratio 3:5 in how many boys will added it will equal to the girl ratio

let ,

no of boys and girls x

then,

boys = 3x

girls = 5x

so,

3x + 5x = 400

8x = 400

x = 50

then,

boys = 3x = 3*50 = 150

girls = 5x = 5* 50 = 250

so,

boys = 150 + 100 = 250

so 100 added will boys and girls equal
