Take LCM of 32 and 36 then we will get 288. 288 books are required for class library so that they can be distributed among students of Class A and B.

Answer:

288 books

Step-by-step explanation:

we can get the answer by finding the lcm of 32 and 36

32=2×2×2×2×2=2^5

36=2×2×3×3=2^2 × 3^2

so lcm = 2^5 × 3^2 ( highest powers of each prime factor)

lcm= 32×9

= 288

hence the school library needs a no. of 288 books so that they can be distributed among the students of section A and B
