In a school there are 50 students in a class. 88% of the students passed a mathematics test. The same number of boys and girls failed in the exam.if 42 % of the total students are girls, how many boys passed the test?

so we know that there are 21 girls because 42% of 50 is 21
so that means that there are 29 boys in the class.
now we have established that 44 people passed and 6 peopled failed and there are the same amount of boys who failed as boys then 3 boys failed and 3 girls failed.
that means 29-4=25 is how many boys passed their test
