In a school , there are 7250 students. For assembly, they have to stand in such a way that the number of rows equal to columns. How many students will be left out in this arrangement? (

Total Students in a school=7250

Solution:

It is given that the students have to stand in such a way that the number of rows should be equal to the columns.

Let the rows be x and the columns be y.

But, x=y...... Given.... (1)

So,

Total Students=xy

xy=7250

x×x=7250.... (From (1))

x²=7250

x=7250

If we find the square root of a 7250 by long division method, then

Then 25 students left out.
