AnswEr :

  • Section A Students = 48
  • Section B Students = 60
  • Determine the least number of books can be distributed equally among of students of each section.

As we Have to Find the Least Number of Books, therefore we will find the LCM of Number of Students.

\rule{100}{2}

LCM of Section A and B of Class 10th :

\boxed{\begin{array}{r|l}2&48\:,\:60\\\cline{1-2}2&24\:,\:30\\\cline{1-2}3&12\:,\:15\\\cline{1-2}2&4\:\:,\:\:5\\\cline{1-2}&2\:\:,\:\:5\end{array}}

↠ LCM = 2 × 2 × 3 × 2 × 2 × 5

LCM = 240

Therefore, 240 Books will be required.

Answer:

\bf\purple{Least\:number\:of\:books=240}

_______________________

Given that,

  • Students in Section A = 48
  • Students in Section B = 60

To find,

  • Least number of books distributed.

Solution:-

The reason because of which we have to find least number of books distributed among the students of each section,so we will have to find L.C.M. of number of students of each section.

L.C.M. of 48 and 60 ,

48 = 2 × 24

48 = 2 × 2 × 12

48 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 6

48 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3

____________________

60 = 2 × 30

60 = 2 × 2 × 15

60 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 5

L.C.M. = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 5

\mapsto L.C.M. = 240

\rule{300}{1}

\therefore 240 books have to distributed among the students of each section.
