Hey!!!!!

____________

Let the number of students in class a be A and b be B.

Then ATQ,

=> (A - 10) = (B + 10)

=> A - B = 20-------(1)

ALSO

=> 2(B - 20) = (A + 20)

=> 2B - 40 = A + 20

=> A - 2B = -60-------(2)

Substating (2) from (1)

=> A - B - (A - 2B) = 20 - (-60)

=> A - B - A + 2B = 80

=> B = 80

thus A - 80 = 20
Thus A = 100

Thus there are 100 students in class a and 80 students in class b

Hope this helps

heya !!!

here is your answer !!

according to question !!

a - 10 = 10 + b

=> a - b = 20 --------------(1)

now , according to question

a +20 = b -20

=> ( a +20 ) =2 ( b -20 )

=> a + 20 =2 b -40

=> a = 2b -60 ----------------(2)

from equation 1 and 2 we get

a - b = 20

a - 2b = -60

(- ) ( + ) = ( +)
============
0 + b = 40

b = 40 .

on putting the value of b in equation 1 we get

a -b = 20

a = 20

hence , the number of students in class A = 20

number of students in class B = 40 .

hope it helps you dear
thanks
