Question:-

In a school tour ,48 children were accompanied by 6 teachers .How many teachers should go for 120 children?

Solution:-

Given,

No. of students for 6 teachers = 48

Therefore, No. of students for one teacher = \frac{48}{6} = 8

No. of teachers for 120 children =

 \frac{no. \:  \: of \:  \: chlidren}{no. \:  \: of \:  \: children \: for \: one \:  \: teacher}

=  \frac{120}{8}  = 15

So, No. of teachers for 120 children = 15
