The Precautions for using the Concentrated Acid in the laboratory are ⇒
1. You should never add water to the acid but instead of this add the acid to the water and that too slowly because if you will add water to the acid, it will be exothermic reaction and it may cause fatal to the person. But if you will add acid to the water slowly then acid will ionizes and no harm will be caused nearby.
2. You should never made the reaction of any salt with the conc. acid unless and until you don't have the complete knowledge of it.
3. While dealing with the acid, take care that this should not fall in your hand, because it may cause harm to you.
4. For all the acids used, they should be tightly closed by the cork.
Hope it helps.
