in a section of a class having 45 students, 20 are girls. in section b of the same class having 30 students, 15 are girls. which has a smaller fraction of girls?​

In section A

Total students - 45

No of girls- 20

So, fraction of girls = 20/45= 4/9 = .44

In section B

Total students= 30

No of girls= 15

So, fraction of girls = 15/30 = 1/2 =.5

therefore section A has smaller fraction of girls
