In a series connection of bulbs, if one bulb fails, why do all other bulbs go OFF?

There are different types of electrical wiring methods which we use to connect one or multiple electrical equipments with the same electricity connection.
Now,in the series connection,the electricity flows through a single line without any line distribution.
That's why a single circuit break can cause the total power down of that whole circuit.
