Answer:

Student B

Explanation:

During respiration, CO2 is given out as a by-product.

This CO2 when reacts with Lime Water or Slaked Lime or Calcium Hydroxide [Ca(OH)2], the Ca(OH)2 turn milky due to formation of CaCO3[(Calcium Carbonate)].

This reaction is shown as below:

CO2(g) + Ca(OH)2(Aq) ------------> CaCO3(Aq) + H2O(l)

The above formation of  CaCO3(Aq) which turns the lime water milky would not take place in any other solution.

Hence, the setup of Student B is correct.

Hope It Helps Many!!
