In a shop there are as many bicycles as there are tricycles. If the total number of wheels is 60, then find the total number of bicycles and the total number of wheels in them.​

let the number of bicycle and tricycle are x

so the number of wheel of bicycle = 2x

the number of wheel of tricycle = 3x

so 2x +3x= 60

or, 5x = 60

so, x = 12

so the total number of bicycle = 12

wheels in the bicycle = 24

total number of tricycle = 12

wheels in the tricycle = 36
