1 hectares = 10000 m2 = 10000x100x100 cm2 = 109cm2
Volume of water = AreaxRainfall
= 109 cm2 x 5 cm
= 50000 m3
= 50 x 106 lit .........since 1000 lit = 1 m3
Volume of water = AreaxRainfall
= 109 cm2 x 5 cm
= 50000 m3
= 50 x 106 lit .........since 1000 lit = 1 m3

2 hectare = 200000000 cm
As we know
level raise = volume of the object / area of the base
given level raise = 5cm
area of base = 2 hectare = 200000000 cm
Hence substituting in formula , we get
5 = volume / 200000000
so volume = 1000000000 cm^3
hence the volume of rain = 1000000000 cm^3
That is nothing but 1000 kiloliters
hence volume = 1000 kiloliters
