☞ANSWER:-

In simultaneous toss of two coins:-

The sample space required is:-

  • HH
  • HT
  • TT
  • TH

Where H refers to Head

Where T refers to tales

So we need to find out where we find exactly one head.

☞We can see that:-

In second case

In fourth case

We can see only one head

Total outcomes = 4

Single head = 2

P( one head exact ) = 2/4

P(E) = 1/2 is the answer.

More:-

Sample Space :-

This is the term which is used to define all the possible cases in the given case to find the applicable probability.

☞Note:-

P(E) = Favourable outcome / Total outcomes
