In this case, when we toss a coin there is a probability of 1/2 for both of the events to occur. We have to find the probability of getting 'either head or tail' so that will be 1/2+1/2–0=1. ... The probability is zero. With one toss you can only have one outcome.

s={H,T}. n(s)=2
n(A)=1
p(A)=n(A)/n(s)
=1/2
