In a single throw of a pair of different dice, what is the probability of getting (i) a prime no. on each dice? (ii)a total of 9 or 11?

p (E)= no. of favorable outcome/total outcome
(i) favorable outcome=3
p (getting a prime no.)= 3/36
=1/12
(ii) favorable outcome )=2
p (getting a total of 9 or 11) = 2/36
=1/18
