Solution:

Sample space of Tossing a single dice ={1,2,3,4,5,6}

Probability of 3 or 4 turns up,let the event of occurring 3 and 4 be E

p(E) = \frac{2}{6} \\ \\ = \frac{1}{3} \\
Now odds against the event:

 \frac{1 - p(E)}{p(E)} \\ \\ = \frac{1 - \frac{1}{3} }{ \frac{1}{3} } \\ \\ = \frac{ \frac{3 - 1}{3} }{ \frac{1}{3} } \\ \\ = \frac{2}{1} \\ \\
Hope it helps you.
