Average salary of employees = rs 1000.
Total number of employees. = 3
1st employee earn salary. = rs 1100
2nd employee earn salary. = rs 500
3rd employee earn salary. = rs x
We know that
Sum of all observations/ number of observations = Average .
1100 + 500 + x / 3. = 1000
1600 + x. = 3000
x. = 3000 -1600
x. = rs 1400

→1100 +500 +1400/ 3
→ 3000/3
