In a solution of Copper sulpate , a strip of metal was inserted after that sometime the colour of Copper Sulphate solution faded away as

= > Metal M displaces Copper from Copper Sulphate solution as follow .

M ( s ) + CuSO4 ( aq ) Cu ( s ) MSO4 ( aq ) + Cu(s)

= > Metal M is more reactive than Copper.
