Answer is A

The propogation of sound wave is in the direction of the vibration of vibrating body.

(to and fro). They travel as compression and rarefaction in that medium.

Hi dear

For a longitudinal wave the direction of the wave propagation is parallel ( same direction ) as the motion of the medium particles . Sounds wave in error are unique in that they propagate as longitudinal waves . The sound particles vibrations travel outward from the source with the same phase .
