In a sport called sphereing, a person rolls down a hill inside an inflatable ball surrounded by another ball. The diameter of the outer ball is 12 feet. Calculate the surface area of the outer ball.

So you have to get the radius to get the surface area! 

So do the diameter (12) divided by 2. 12/2=6

So that equals 6 So now you do 
[tex] 4 \pi r^{2} [/tex]
So now your answer would be:
452.39
