In a sports club,the ratio of football, cricket and badminton players is 2:3:5.due to new entries tha number of football, cricket and badminton players increased by 250%,33 1/3% and 60% respectively.what is the new ratio of football, cricket and badminton players?

Solution :-

Let the numbers of players in of football, cricket and badminton are 200x , 300x and 500x respectively .

so,

→ New number of playes in football = 200x + (250% of 200x) = 350% of 200x = (350 * 200x)/100 = 700x

and,

→ New number of players in cricket = 133(1/3)% of 300x = (300x * 400)/(3 * 100) = 400x .

and,

→ New number of players in badminton = 160% of 500x = (160 * 500x)/100 = 800x .

therefore,

→ New ratio of players football : Cricket : badminton = 700x : 400x : 800x = 7 : 4 : 8 (Ans.)
