different uniforms  can be composed  from these items

= 5 x 4 x 3

we have,

→ Total tshirts of different colors = 5

→ Total shorts of different colors = 4

→ Total socks of different colors = 3

then,

→ Total number of different uniforms we can compose from these items = Total t - shirts * Total shorts * Total socks = 5 * 4 * 3 = 60 (Ans.)
