Let the side of the Square = a km

speed = 18 km/h

= 18000m / ( 60 × 60 )s

= 5 m/s

If he travels 9s

distance of the diagonal ( d ) = 9 × 5 = 45m

d = 45m

Area of the square = d²/2

A = ( 45 )²/2

= 2025/2

= 1012.50 m²
