Here,

ABCD is a square.

Given :

  • AB = 2x + 3
  • BC = 3x - 5

Property :

  • All sides of square are same.

According to the property,

We can be write,

➵ 2x + 3 = 3x - 5

Now, we solve the expression

➵ 2x + 3 = 3x - 5

x side will taking a side

➵ 3x - 2x = 3 + 5

➵ x = 8
