Given :  a square ABCD, AC= (7x-2) cm and BD= (11x-10) cm

To find :   length of AC

Solution:

AC & BD are diagonals of Square

Diagonal of Square  are equal in length

=> AC  = BD

AC = 7x - 2  cm

BD = 11x - 10  cm

7x - 2 = 11x - 10

=> 4x  = 8

=> x = 2

AC = 7x - 2 = 7(2) - 2  = 12 cm

BD = 11x - 10 = 11(2) - 10 = 12  cm

AC = 12 cm
