BC= (x+6) cm.

3x-8 = x+6

or. 3x-x = 6+8

or. 2x = 14

or. x = 14/2

or. x = 7

So, AB= (3x-8)cm = (3*7-8) cm = 13 cm

therefore, we know that,all the sides are equal of a square

So,the side of a square is 13 cm

Ans: x=7 and length of each side=13 cm
