We know that the all sides of a square is equal.
So,
⇒ ( 2a - 3 ) = ( a + 6 )
⇒ 2a - a = 6 + 3
∴ a = 9.
Side = ( 2a - 3 )
= ( 2 × 9 - 3 )
= ( 18 - 3 ) = 15.
Diagonal of a square = √2 × side
= √2 × 15
= 15√2.
So,
⇒ ( 2a - 3 ) = ( a + 6 )
⇒ 2a - a = 6 + 3
∴ a = 9.
Side = ( 2a - 3 )
= ( 2 × 9 - 3 )
= ( 18 - 3 ) = 15.
Diagonal of a square = √2 × side
= √2 × 15
= 15√2.
