In a square, the diagonal bd of the square abcd is 3. What is the perimeter of the square?

By applying Pythagorus theorem..

we find the side of square say 'x'

thus

x^2+x^2=3^2

2x^2=9

x=3/√2

now perimeter of square =4x

4×3/√2

=6√2[ by simplification]
