In a squre pqrs pq =(5a -17)cm and qr =(2a +4)cm then find ps

We know, in square all the four sides are equal.
Therefore, pq = qr
5a - 17 = 2a + 4
3a = 21
a = 7

So, side of square, qr = 2x7 + 4 = 18 cm.

So ps = 18 cm
