Given , total students in the class = 50

Number of boys in the class = 35

Number of girls in the class = 15

6 boys and 3 girls got an A grade in the test .

E - the event that the chosen student is a girl

F - the event that a A grade student is chosen

P(E) = 15/50 = 3/10 , P(F) = 9/50

P(E⋂F) = 3/50

P(E⋃B) = P(E) + P(F) - P(E⋂F)

=> P(E⋃B) = (15/50) + (9/50) - (3/50)

=> P(E⋃B) = 21/50

The Probability of choosing an A grade student given that the student is a girl = 21/50
