Then,
LOSER got total votes = 38% of R
= 38/100 × R
= 38R/100 (cancel by 2)
= 19R/50
Now
Winner gots total votes = R - 19R/5
= 50R -19R /50
= 31R/50
Loser lost by 16800 votes

= 31R/50 - 19R/50 = 16800
= 12R/50 = 16800
= 12R = 16800×50
= 12R = 840000
= R = 840000/12
= R = 70000
