  • Since distance 'd'  is proportional to square root of time 't'

Mathematically, d∝√t ⇒ d = f√t (where f is the constant of proportionality)

So therefore f = d/√t

⇒ v = f/√t = d/t

⇒a=v/t (so therefore, a is proportional to velocity)
