Number of houses read only one news paper=64

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of houses surveyed=120

Let A=Times of India

B=Indian express

C=Hindustan times

n(A)=50

n(B)=60

n(C)=48

n(A\cap B)=20

n(B\cap )=18

n(A\cap C)=24

n(A\cap B\cap C)=10

n(A\cap B)only=n(A\cap B)-n(A\cap B\cap C)=20-10=10

n(B\cap C)only=18-10=8

n(A\cap C)only=24-10=14

n(A) only=50-10-10-8=22

n(B) only=60-10-10-14=26

n(C) only=48-10-14-8=16

Number of houses read only one news paper=22+26+16=64
