Explanation -:

Given,

There are 400 students In a school

So ,

n (s) = 400

100 students will take apple juice

So ,

n(A) = 100

150 students will take orange juice -:

So ,

n(o) = 150

75 students will take both apple and

orange juice

So ,

n(A∩o) = 75

So,

n(A∪o)=n(A)+n(o)−n(A∩o)

=100+150−75

=175

Number of students will take northern

apple nor orange juice .

Total number of students - no. of

students either like orange juice or

apple juice

=400−175

=225

Therefore,

225 students were taking neither apple

juice nor orange juice.
