In a survey of 600 students, every student study at least one of the three subjects;
Math, Science or English. If the number of students who study only one subject is
twice the number of students who study only two subjects and 10% study all three,
find the number of students who study only one subject? (Ans 360)

Answer:

Number of students who study all three subjects-10/100*600=60 students

Number of students who study one or two subjects=540

Let number of students who study two subjects be x

Let number of students who study one subject be 2x

2x+x=540

3x=540

x=180

Therefore 180 students study two subjects

Number of students who study one subject=2x=2*180=360

Ans=360
