Answer: So, 40% of people liked both

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the people listen to radio be n(A)

Let the people watch tv be n(B)

n(U) = 100

n(A) = 50

n(B) = 60

n(AUB) and a line at the top = 30

so,

n(A U B) and a line at the top =  n(U) - n(A UB)

30 = 100 - n(AUB)

so, n(AUB) = 100-30

= 70

now

finding n(A intersection B)

n(AUB) = n(A)+n(B)-n(A intersection B)

70 = 50+60-n(A intersection B)

70 = 110 - n( A intersection B)

n( A intersection B) = 110 -70

n( Aintersection B) = 40%
