Barring technicalities associated with keeping more than two fielders behind square of the wicket on the leg side.

One can have any number of fielders as per the liking of the skipper and the bowler on the onside.

Also certain particular scenario’s and play grounds in countries like England, West Indies promt Captains placing all nine fielders in the leg side or off side, (one wicket keeper & bowler is excluded) fearing crowd invasion on to the playing area.

I am not getting into the nuances and nitty gritties associated with field setting.

Test matches, One day and T20 field settings are totally different and are governed by respective laws and guide lines.
