In a temple there are 24 cylindrical pillars. The radius of each pillar is 28 cm and height 4 m. Find the total cost of painting the curved surface area of all pillars at the rate of Rs. 8 per m sq.

CSA=?
CSA=2πrh

=2×22/7×0.28×4
=2×22×0.04×4
==44×0.04×4
=7.04
pillars=24
total CSA=7.04×24
=168.98


cost of painting=168.98×8
=1351.68
