in a test,+3marks are given for every correct answer and -1 mark are given for every incorrect answer. sone attempted all the questions and scored +20 marks though she got 10 correct answers . (1)how many incorrect answers has she attempted (2) how many questions were given in the test?​

Answer:

Marks given for 1 correct answer=3

marks given for 10 correct answer =10×3=30

Sone scores 20 marks

Therefore,marks obtained for incorrect answer=20-30=-10

marks given for 1 incorrect answer =-1

therefore,numbers of incorrect answer =(-10)÷(-1)=10

marks given for 10 incorrect answer =10×(-1)=-10

Total numbers of question were = 30+10=40

Hence,she attempted 10 incorrect answer and 40 question were given in the test.
