In a test (+5) marks are given for every correct answer and (-2) marks are given for every incorrect answer and 0 for answer not attempted. Mayur gets 3 correct and 4 incorrect out of 7 question he attempted . what is his score

Marks given for each correct answer- (+5)

Marks given for each wrong answer- (-2)

Marks given for unattempted questions- 0

Therefore, 3 correct answers given by Mayur = 3 × (+5) = 15 marks and 4 wrong answers given by Mayur = 4 × (-2) = -8,out of 7 questions he attempted.

So, 15 - 8 = 7 marks.

7 marks are scored totally.
