Answer of above mentioned questions

Solution :

Part a)

Prakrithi's marks = m

We know that Arun got twice the marks of Prakrithi's

Marks of Arun = 2m

Part b)

Sum of 2 times Arun marks and 3 time Prakrithi's marks = 315

2(2m) + 3(m) = 315

4m + 3m = 315

7m = 315 { equation }

Part c)

Solution of equation -

7m = 315

m = 315 ÷ 7

m = 45

Part d)

Prakrithi's marks = m = 45

Arun's marks = 2m = 90
