In a test consisting of 80 questions carrying one mark each, sonam answers 65% of the first 40 questions correctly. what per cent of the other number of questions does she need to answer correctly to score 75% on the entire test?

Total number of questions= 80

Number of questions to be answered correctly​ to score 75% are 75/100 ×80

= 60questions.

Sonam has answered 65% of the first 40 questions.

No. Of questions = 65/100 × 40 = 26 questions.

No of questions she.has to answer more to get 75% is 60-26 = 34questions.

Let 34 questions be y% of other number of questions.

34 = y/100 × 40

y= 34×100/40 = 85%

She has to answer 85% of the remaining questions correctly to get 75% of the entire test.
