First of all no. of questions Rakesh did not get marks for and incorrect answers = 100-70= 30

Now questions Rakesh attempted = 70

So marks if all are correct = 70×3 =210

Now marks Rakesh got = 190

Therefore marks deducted = 210-190=20

Now marks deducted for 1 wrong answer = 3+1=4

Therefore when 20 marks deducted no. of incorrect answers = 20÷4=5

Now total marks of the test = 100×3 =300

Therefore,

Ans= Rakesh did 5 questions incorrectly and the total marks of the test was 300
